Blue Rain’s Annual Celebration of Contemporary Native American Art

Leading figures in contemporary Native American Art create a new visual language with their art…

SANTA FE, N.M. [July 13, 2012] – Blue Rain Gallery, recognized for its roots as the premier Native American art gallery in the country, is pleased to announce events they will host in sync with the 91st Annual Santa Fe Indian Market in August, the largest event held annually in Santa Fe, NM. Blue Rain Gallery has a reputation for innovation and excellence, and this year’s series of shows and events is sure to please. Shows and events will take place August 16 – 19, 2012.

The gallery’s legendary pottery sale and lottery, a time honored tradition at Blue Rain, will be held the morning of Friday, August 17th, providing an opportunity for collectors to purchase one of the highly sought after and limited pieces of pottery from Tammy Garcia and Richard Zane Smith. Group shows take place over the course of two evenings. These shows feature the works of artists like Lisa Holt and Harlan Reano, Jody Naranjo, and Larry Vasquez, to name only a few. Prominent artists like Preston Singletary and Tony Abeyta bring an exciting new body of work to the table, drawing a loyal following of fans and collectors.
